It's mediocre game, but it's a good amateur project. I don't like the forced high jump, and maps are kinda wonky in a way that you never know if you shouldn't wait a little before jumping onto the next platform, because there may be enemy approaching - you're just never sure. Fighting system isn't really satisfactory, but it's much better than just killing the enemies with one strike.
I think you should keep on making games and hone your skills.

I'm working with the camera to make it so that you can see better around you.
Thanks for the response :)

It looks like you've put some actual effort into it. It should be appreciated. The game has some kind of story, it has some kind of gameplay, few stages - it's fine, it's a good approach at making games. However, it all could be done better. especially the game mechanics.
I bet lots of people will find fights tedious, because enemies have a lot of health, and to kill them you just have to smash three buttons, so beating the fights is just a lot of button smashing. It just feels like the fights need something added to them, and the story could be longer.

I think you should keep on making games. You have what it takes to actually prepare the assets and finish a game, even if it's quite amateurly done. It's a good start, I believe if you go through some volume of work, you will make great games eventually. Try experimenting with the features. Try to add something interesting to each game.

Thanks, this game is one of my old games that i made. So i uploaded it here and didnt expect anyone to criticize this. So, thanks. I'm probably gonna make a new one...I was a bit crazy with the character designs but thats just how i drew them.

It's a bad algorithm. It couldn't guess 67 couple of times. There was actually a moment where the game would take turns asking is it's 66 of 68 and never propose 67. And this applies to many other numbers. Sometimes it just doesn't work correctly. And it's a shame, because that's the only feature of the game. There's nothing else to rate. It's cool that you try, but the outcome is not cool.

DominusLucas responds:

Yeah, the algorithm isn't nearly as good as i expected... at least the navigation works as i had intended it to, I'll revisit it sometime later an try to improve the algorithm, i have to think of a way of it not repeating guesses and making more predictable yet not so predictable guesses.

I updated it, care to give it another try? Your feedback was very important.

I assume this game was rather designed for touchscreens. I played it on mouse and well... I don't think it was as engaging as playing on the touch screen would be. Apart from that, we get yet another pixelated excuse for graphics and decent, little gameplay. I played little, reached 18th level and I think that I've experienced all the game has to offer. The "restart 5 levels below dying level" mechanic was a positive suprise to me, and that's cool. The treasure and high score surely motivate player to risk and play more.

As far as I'm concerned, enemies move quite randomly, maybe with prefference to reach player when he's nearby, so they're pretty easy to avoid. Multiplying them was a good choice. However, on the levels with 3x3 grid it is actually possible to get to the exit before enemies make second move, so if after the first move exit isn't blocked, you pretty much won the level. Knowing this, I was glad to see, that the grid got bigger later on.

It's not a game that I would come back to after some time, unfortunately.

Hi fellow! Thanks for your review!

Actually the level grows bigger each 15-20 levels, up to a 7x7 with a hell of enemies. So, you can come back to it after some time. ;)

In the beginning it was really confusing, I wasn't aware that you have to stand next to tv buttons, to interact with the tv. I clicked the tv numerous times while standing somewhere in the middle of it, and nothing changed, so I got stuck for a while, exploring the house. In situation like this, the slow character speed can be really pissing off.
On the other hand, I think that the fact that the character was a slow old man actually played a significant role here, gameplay and narration wise. Especially, since the game is quite short. Visuals ara standard for pixel games, music is fine, rest of effects (sound fx, animations) are decent. There's nothing really wrong in this game, but in my opinion it lacks some kind of clear climax, it's too short and the gameplay mechanics are pretty primitive. Anyway, good job. I believe you can improve with time and practice.

Thank you for your reveiw!

This is the kind of shit Newgrounds needs. It's creative, playable (to a certain extent, steering doesn't seem flexible enough) and made by a stable community member. Good job.

Kwing responds:

... Steering?

Wait a minute, are you trying to sell me the same game you did couple of times, AGAIN? It's nothing new, or creative anymore. It's just shop empire with other skins. You're overusing the game you have posted here already 2 years ago.

LittleGiantWorld responds:

Hi Makakaov, Thank you for playing our games. We didn't sell the game, it's a free game so you didn't need to buy the game to play it. There are improvement and some changing in the game. Feel free to play the game if you like it.
