This is too political to be the comedy it's trying to portray itself as. I just gives out vibes of a rant made by a poor person uneducated enough to generalise and craft some conspiracy theories about alien social groups.
Video quality is shit. The art style, speaker and execution are fine.

GetThePicture responds:

poor and uneducated.....Yep that´s me. You are doing great though. Keep it up

It's really good, did not expect that joke, and the animation is nice. Although, it's not a sea turtle, it probably wouldn't actually want to fall into the sea.

Fishermen responds:

I completely forgot that there where different types of turtles. Whoops.

The drawing style is just outright fucking terrible, but animation and content wise it's not that bad. It's actually quite decent. Dialogues are kitsch, story isn't brilliant at all, but I do appreceate all the work that was put into animating the shooting scene. Even if it didn't look that good, it was actually entertaining to watch. Maybe if you improve your workflow, you will be able to increase quality of drawings without spending too much time on one frame.

SonnyFern responds:

I could easily emulate every other style of drawing out there...or do anime...that's pretty easy.

Don't want to. I like having a style that splits people (and if you look at some of my other work, I do switch up styles from time to time). I'm sorry you don't dig it, and that's okay. The people like my stuff know what they're going to get when they watch it and that's awesome. But changing how I draw? No thanks...

I love these.

Blackamer responds:

Thanks! :D

It's traced, isn't it? There are only like 2 dance loops in here, and I'm pretty sure it was traced. I would give it a 2, but there are some visuals I would not be able to make easily myself, so you have my respect for these visuals.

biblo responds:

It's rotoscoped if that's what you mean by "traced".

Get your head out of your ass with that stigma, seriously. It's just a different visual style.

Did you see that film "A Scanner Darkly"? Yeah, that was traced, did you know that?

Stop posting it. It got blammed once, it will get blammed twice.

The first upload had actually had great responses and I uploaded again to put a load bar to stop it from looping. It never got blamed

It doesn't look bad at all.

I never liked sprites, so I am still not impressed, but It doesn't look bad either.

The idea of putting few original characters into one universe had been used already couple of times, but not enough to make it a common move.
The song of course had to be in japanese, because it's anime styled, but the sprites are 8 bit. I don't really know what to think about this.
Lastly, I think it's quite too long for an intro. I don't know how long are anime intros, because I don't watch anime, but I hope you will add the skip intro button to the upcoming flashes.

In general, there is nothing I can be mad about, but I'm not stunned by your work. Good job.

Dragonthunder9000 responds:

Thanks for the constructive criticism i accept the opinion of the other artists,I really apriciate that and well the sprites are in 32 bit not in 8 bit and yeah are original characters but its not all in just one universe. There are many of them,in fact there is one universe for every series that appeare there and well some more things will be explained when Ep 1 comes out and BTW its 1:30 minutes its like all anime openings duration. Thanks for your crittic again it was constructive and I very like that.If you want to see my series just stay tuned.

Interesting

Interesting indeed. There is an interesting begginng of the story, music fits, the animation is satisfying. The graphics aren't bad too. The only thing that it misses is some kind of action.

What we got here was a set of animations, scenes, showing what the character does. To be honest, the story is interesting, but the performance could occur quite boring to someone. I'm waiting for part 2.

Pahgawk responds:

Part one is, like you said, more for the introduction of characters and such. Things pick up soon, don't worry :) You can't have a nuclear war without action.

Umm...

Everything you said, without exception, was WRONG.

I mean you had some points, but you simply didn't get the basic of it:

Machine is a term used by human to describe a device with a mechanism, or a series of mechanisms, and is used to convert energy, or do mechanical work.

the machine is made from parts, made by human, and they mostly are the dead components.

The human is something different. The brain controlls the body, and the one little cell in out brains are we. We partially controll the brain, but we still can fool it, or it can fool us.

We actually have ability to reproduce, and we even regenerate. We think, and don't work on preplanned scheme. We grow, and so many other stuff.

We aren't created to do certain work. We have a free will, and we can choose to kill and rape, or not.

Of course, we sure need food, and the nature forces us only to fight, eat, sleep, run, and reproduce. These are the things we are instructed to do, by our inner will caused by nature, because that's the way we were supposed to behave.

This is that will to survive, and so on.

I liked your interpretation of the life, and some of your points, and views. I also liked the presentation. However i do not agree with you on most of the things.

If you think that you are genious, you should think again, and spend more time on thining if your statements are true and reasonable, or not.

Even through i do not agree with you, i do believe that this proect deserves a high score, because it is done in a decent way, and it's kind of original.

Donitz responds:

Thanks for the review!

Not saying this just to argue, but I'd like to put forth my opinion.

When you say that machines are made from "dead components", what part of us, as organisms made from cells, made from molecules, made from atoms would you consider to be the "alive part"? At some level we too are just made from dead components.

Indeed we are controlled by our brain, but what is so special about it? It is an amazing organ, but is there a reason we couldn't eventually simulate a brain as software? We already implement artificial neural networks, which are made up from the same principle we assume our brains to work at.

There is nothing except complexity that stops machines from reproducing and regenerating, of course not in the same way as living organisms. If they can reproduce, they can evolve.

I would argue that there isn't anything about us that gives us free will (if we truly have free will) that would be impossible for machines. If we produced a machine perfectly simulating a human brain, is there a difference between the machine and the brain if we can't tell the difference? (read the Chinese Room argument which asks a similar question)

Our instincts are still just a part of our brain (most residing in the primitive brain). A machine could be given synonymous instructions. They wouldn't need to be as complex (if (powerLevel < criticalLevel) FindOutlet()), but I would argue that they are instincts nonetheless.

In the end, the point of this animation was to question our view of life, not to argue that my calculator is a living entity.

wut?

Again only the intro again? Is that all you've got?

In order to survive, you must entertain us.

LugerLeague responds:

there is flash past the intro, i dont know what your talking about, get a new computer wtf ?????????????????????????????????????
